Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Iceland's Reykjavik. She is a CrossFit professional athlete. She also trains and coaches at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is co-owner. Annie became the very first woman to ever win CrossFit Games on two occasions. She was second in both the 2010 and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is a weightlifter CrossFit and media celebrity. She was the first female winner of the CrossFit Games in 2011, and in 2012, two times. Also, she is known as having been the winner of the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie as well as her parents and her siblings, was birthed in Reykjavik Iceland. From a very young age, Annie was an avid sports fan and was a fan of working out. Many medals were awarded to her at school events. In 2009 she first participated in the CrossFit competitions in California in which she did good in her first games. Annie Thorisdottir's age is 31 years old (as as of 2021). She stands at 5'7" tall, and weighs 67 kilograms. Annie began CrossFit Training in California at the age of 2009. At the beginning of her competition, she did very well and placed in first 10 of the 70 competitors. Although she didn't take home any titles She finished in eleventh place. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. The same year, under Jami's coaching she won the gold medal at the CrossFit Games. Following that she took part at CrossFit Games and won them thanks to her outstanding performances. She was the first woman ever to take home a gold medal in CrossFit Games. Annie also won the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her impressive performance. It was her first time as a female athlete to be crowned the winner of two CrossFit Games at once. In 2014, Annie received a Silver medal and most recently, in 2021 she took home a Bronze Medal in the CrossFit Games. Annie has been coaching and training at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was created by Annie. Annie's rise in fame as an athlete has led her to become the face of many sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Periodization Nuunhydration-Sidekick Yerb. In addition to this she has a self-titled Youtube channel with a few thousand subscribers where her training video clips, diet and travel vlogs are uploaded.
