Annie Mist Thorisdottir of Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit athlete. She also coaches and instructor in Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie is the only woman to have ever won two CrossFit Games. In 2010, she finished 2nd. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelandic weightlifter who is also an Icelandic CrossFit athlete and celebrity TV personality. She became famous for becoming the first female to win taken home twice at the CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012 She is also known as having been the winner of the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie was born and raised up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents as well as her siblings. As a kid, she's been a competitive athlete and fitness enthusiast. Coach Jami Tikannen helped her achieve an overall second place in the CrossFit Games, and a medal in the silver category that year. In the following year she was a participant in CrossFit Games and won them due to her impressive performance. It was her first time as a woman to ever take home a gold medal in CrossFit Games. Annie was the first female to ever win successive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to an exceptional performance. Also, she received a trophy of silver in 2014 and an award of bronze at the CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie is presently a coach and instructor for Crossfit Reykjavik, which she created. Annie has gained recognition for her athletic skills, has been featured in commercials for sports products such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration sidekick Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs, among other. There are a few thousand subscribers to her own Youtube Channel where training videos as well as travel and family videos are uploaded.
